Harry Steward

NRPDTP PhD Student

Harry is investigating the link between DMSP cycling, polar growth and asymmetrical cell division in abundant marine bacteria. He is focused on localising fluorescently tagged proteins involved in polar growth and asymmetrical cell division using time lapse microscopy to visualise localisation at different stages of growth and division. His work has identified novel cell division in abundant marine roseobacters.
